The legendary creature returns to the streets of historic Weston for a day of adventure\, scavenger hunts\, and community fun. \nEvent Details\n\n\nDate: Saturday\, April 25\, 2026 \n\n\nTime: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Search concludes at 2:00 PM for prize drawings\, the Bigfoot Calling contest takes place after 2pm) \n\n\nLocation: Historic Downtown Weston\, MO \n\n\nWebsite: westonmo.com \n\n\nWhat to Expect\nThe Bigfoot Search is a family friendly scavenger hunt through the local shops and historic sites of Weston. \n\n\nScavenger Hunt: Purchase a “Search License/Passport” at the Chamber of Commerce or online at westonmo.com. \n\n\nThe Search: Follow clues and play skill based games to complete your Bigfoot Search passport card. Each effort will earn a  stamp your passport. Turn passports in at 1pm in the Holladay Park downtown at the gazebo. \n\n\nBigfoot Specials: Many downtown businesses offer “Bigfoot-themed” treats\, drinks\, and merchandise throughout the day. \n\n\nContests & Prizes (1:00 PM): \n\n\nPassport Drawing: Submit your completed passport by 2:00 PM to be entered into a drawing for prizes\, including the coveted Bigfoot statues. \n\n\nBigfoot Calling Contest: Test your vocal range and see who can summon the beast most convincingly. \n\n\nCostume Contest: Dress up as your favorite cryptid for a chance to win. \n\n\n\n\nPro Tips for Hunters\n\n\nArrive Early: While you can start the hunt anytime before 1:00 PM\, getting an early start ensures you have plenty of time to visit all the shops and enjoy the town. Official start is 10am. Licenses can be picked up beginning at 8am at the Chamber. “Day Of” licenses can be purchased at Beverlin’s Statuary at 419 Main St beginning at 8am. \n\n\nCheck the Weather: The event is “Rain or Shine\,” so dress for the Missouri spring weather. \n\n\nExplore the Town: Use the search as an excuse to visit the unique boutiques\, galleries\, and historic spots that make Weston a top Missouri destination. \n\n\n\n\n

All ages gather in downtown Edgerton the second weekend in September each year for the free three-day event. \nOrganized by members of the volunteer Pioneer Days committee\, with sponsorships and assistance from area businesses and organizations\, the festival features arts\, crafts and food vendors\, one of the largest parades in Platte County\, live entertainment\, artisans and demonstrations\, shootouts by re-enactors\, pony rides\, a variety of contests\, and good old-fashioned fun for the entire family. \nArea youngsters compete for the title of Little Mr./Miss Pioneer Days. Other events have included a co-ed softball tournament\, chain saw carving demonstrations\, fund raisers sponsored by local organizations\, cake walks\, a fish fry and more fun than you can shake a Grove Creek stick at. \nAdmission\, parking and most of the entertainment are free.
